QS Subject Rankings 2025: six Finnish universities in top 50

Several Finnish universities are once again ranked among the 50 best in the annual QS World University Rankings by Subject.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 features more than 1700 higher education institutions from around the world, ranked in 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas.

In the 2025 ranking, six Finnish universities made it to top 50:

- #8 in Art & Design, #44 in Marketing and #49 in Architecture & Built Environment

- #27 in Library & Information Management

(Uniarts Helsinki) - #9 in Music (Sibelius Academy) and #14 in Performing Arts

- #35 in Agriculture & Forestry, #37 in Education & Training, #45 in Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies, #64 in Linguistics and #65 in Pharmacy & Pharmacology

- #47 in Sports-related Subjects

- #39 in Nursing

Additionally, many Finnish universities featured in the top 200 in several fields of study.
